Acid Black was a metal band formed in 1993 and played on and off with various line-ups in the Columbus, OH area before finally disbanding in 2000. Influences included Black Sabbath, early Metallica, Iron Maiden, Nevermore, and a touch of psychedelia and prog-rock thrown in for good measure. The band headlined numerous venues and events, and also shared the stage with legendary acts such as Manowar, Nevermore, Morbid Angel, and Suffocation.
