| | | Gar Keese and Bob Blackburn ended a ten year run with the hugely successful local band, Victim. Both Gar and Bob branching off to start their own projects and greatly successful bands as Bob Blackburns Undivided and Gar Keese and fellow bassist Chris Cox's 9GT. Dana Green and Tim Gray have played together in great bands as well such as Uncle Crush and Sticky Dame. Their experience with various local bands lend creativity and solidarity to the band. Damn Near Down's comfort with their audience and entrancing stage presence is evidence of their experiences with these bands.
