Propulsion hails from Columbus, Ohio and blasted off in early 2009. Founding members Mike Williams, Sam McKinney, Terry Adams, and Jeff Zarate found creative common ground and began writing music. Sam McKinney has since moved on to pursue other projects as of June 2010. Les Paul Mcpeters has taken the vocal reigns with a vengeance and Propulsion is ready to take on the world.
Creatively, Propulsion desired to put together a Metal band that encompasses elements from a long and varied Metal history that includes Pantera, Metallica, Black Sabbath, UFO, and a myriad of others. What resulted is a hard hitting infectious sound that is painful to the neck but stimulating to the soul.
